Graziela Padoin receives Certified Destination Marketing Executive Designation

Buenos Aires, 4 August 2015

Graziela Padoin, GainingEdge’s Business Development Consultant in Latin America, has earned the Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) designation by DMAI – Destination Marketing Association International. The focus of this programme is on Vision, Leadership, Productivity and the implementation of business strategies for CVBs and DMOs.

Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Graziela is currently working on several projects for the development and improvement of destinations in this region. Her specialties are marketing, strategic planning, business development, international relations, business events and industry training. She is also working with the Greater Houston CVB for their tourism and business meetings in South America.

She recently completed a GainingEdge project with the Latin American CVBs Association, supporting six destinations in four countries to improve their strategies and strengthen their competitiveness; while also involved on a global study for the UNTWO on the decision making process of association events. Graziela has over 14 years of experience in the industry including marketing and strategic development projects for hotels and resorts with convention center facilities. She managed the events department in Porto Alegre Convention & Visitors Bureau before joining GainingEdge.
