Our CSR
One of our company's CSR programmes, GainingWheels, was launched on 7 Jan 2012 as
GainingEdge celebrates
its 8th anniversary as a global business events consultancy. The programme provides
wheelchairs to people who need them, but can't afford them. Our goal is to provide
wheelchairs every year in every place where we work. The fund will provide wheelchairs
to recipients that are nominated by our clients. Since its launch, we have provided
a wheelchair to a stroke victim in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), and in the process of
providing one to a young adult inflicted with cerebral palsy in Belgrade (Serbia)
and a paralysed patient from Hangzhou (China).
Our other company CSR programme is GainingSupport. This programme provides capacity
building assistance in developing economies. We provide both pro bono and reduced
fees work on a means tested basis. We also provide reduced rate specialist consulting
support for NGO/AID projects. On GainingSupport programme will be in conjunction
with IMEX's Wild Card winners in 2012 where we will provide pro bono consultancy
to the successful applicants.
